Catoura designs and builds one-of-a-kind pieces in collaboration with interior designers and architects. Each is scaled, finished, and resolved for the residence it will inhabit.

The atelier accepts a limited number of commissions at a time so that every piece receives our full attention, from first drawing to final delivery. Priority is given to projects led by design professionals.

Begin a Commission

Our Process

  • Consultation

    We begin with a conversation with you and your designer about the residence, the room, and how the piece will be lived with. Plans, photographs, and material palettes are welcome.

  • Design

    We develop concept drawings and a proposal addressing scale, material, finish, and placement within the room.

  • Approval

    The design is refined with your designer until every detail is resolved. On approval, your commission is scheduled into the atelier.

  • Fabrication

    Each piece is built by hand by our artisans. We share progress with you and your designer along the way.

  • Delivery

    Your finished piece is delivered 8–12 weeks from design approval.

The timeline begins once the design is approved. We confirm your delivery window when the commission is scheduled, so your designer can plan around it alongside the rest of the project.

For interior designers & architects

An extension of your design, not an exception to it.

We work within your scheme: finishes coordinated to your palette and proportions drawn from your plans, so the piece reads as part of the architecture rather than an afterthought. You remain the lead on the project. We handle design development, fabrication, and delivery.
